Job Summary:
As a Leasing Agent, you will be the face of our property, responsible for leasing apartments to prospective residents and ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience. You will provide excellent customer service, assist with inquiries, and manage the leasing process from start to finish. Your role is crucial in maintaining high occupancy rates and building strong relationships with current and future residents.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet and Assist Prospective Residents: Provide tours of the property and show available apartments to potential residents. Answer questions about the community, amenities, apartment features, pricing, and lease terms.
  • Leasing and Sales: Manage the leasing process by following up with prospects, processing applications, conducting background checks, and preparing lease agreements. Strive to meet or exceed leasing targets.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to current and prospective residents, addressing concerns and ensuring satisfaction. Build and maintain positive relationships with residents to encourage lease renewals.
  • Marketing and Outreach: Assist with marketing efforts to promote the property. Distribute marketing materials, host open houses, and participate in community events to attract potential residents.
  • Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate records of leasing activities, update the CRM system with prospects' information, and ensure all leasing paperwork is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Property Management Support: Collaborate with the property management team to ensure the property is well-maintained and issues are promptly addressed. Report any maintenance or repair needs.
  • Compliance: Ensure all leasing activities comply with applicable laws and regulations, including Fair Housing laws.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework preferred.
  • Previous experience in leasing, sales, or customer service is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software (e.g., Res Man) is preferred.
  • Must be able to work weekends and occasional evenings to accommodate prospective residents.
